Behind the smuggling, close calls, deception, and intrigue was another battle—one far more personal. Haunted by visions and increasingly tormented by the life he had created, Marjan found himself confronting not only the dangerous men around him, but the demons within himself.

His search for freedom would take him through criminals and cops, gurus and politicians, wilderness and altered states, always looking for something he could not name. In the end, the greatest journey was not around the world, but the twelve inches from his head to his heart.
